Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Network Architect to spearhead the development and deployment of high-performance communications networks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement highly available, secure IP/MPLS networks using Cisco and Juniper technologies.
  • Lead integration, testing, commissioning and migration activities across multi-vendor platforms.
  • Ensure network designs meet stringent safety, redundancy and security requirements in mission-critical environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex network challenges through diagnostics and root-cause analysis.
  • Mentor junior engineers to foster a high-performing communications team.
  • Publish comprehensive documentation, reports and procedures that adhere to industry standards.

Requirements:
  • At least 10 years' experience in network engineering with focus on design, configuration and integration.
  • Strong background in Cisco and Juniper technologies, including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS and VPNs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering (Engineers Australia membership preferred).
  • Professional certifications: CCNP and/or JNCIS/JNCIP.
  • Demonstrated expertise in large-scale infrastructure or operational technology environments, preferably in rail or signalling.
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced delivery environments, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
