Job Title: Senior Construction Lead

Overview

This is a senior construction leadership role with significant experience in oil and gas or industrial plant construction.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and risk targets are met.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement construction and commissioning processes and procedures
  • Provide supervision and technical assistance at manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites
  • Review project deliverables, focusing on constructability and commissioning input
  • Prepare construction execution plans, scopes of work, schedules, and mobilisation requirements
  • Contribute to cost estimates and project budgets
  • Lead constructability reviews and input to project execution plans
  • Assist procurement and subcontract teams with scope definitions, evaluations, and awards
  • Liaise between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Manage planning and design stages of construction projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant trade qualification
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in oil and gas or industrial plant construction, with at least 10 years focused on construction leadership roles
  • Strong background in SMP (structural, mechanical, piping) construction
  • Demonstrated success on Australian onshore construction projects
  • Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and risk in complex construction environments

  • Site accommodation provided, including meals
  • Exposure to extended working hours and site conditions as required

Relocation from Perth only. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Perth.
