Job Title: Group Reservations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Group Reservations Coordinator to oversee group bookings and ensure seamless experiences for guests and strong partnerships with external stakeholders.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for all group enquiries, contracting, and coordination, including guest rooms.
  • They will seek proactive measures to maximise all opportunities to increase sales.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and outside contacts is also essential.
  • The Group Reservations Coordinator will manage the rooming list process for all group segments.
  • Conduct group briefings and site inspections are a crucial part of this role.
  • Liaising with the Revenue Team & Reservations Department for room availability and room preferences is vital.
  • Ensuring billing is accurate and credit approvals are processed correctly requires close liaison with finance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential. Experience with Opera and Delphi is highly regarded.
  • Problem-solving and organisational abilities are critical in this role.
  • Previous experience working in a hotel reservations or front office role is necessary.
  • A valid work visa for Australia is mandatory.
