About This Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Community Disability Support Worker, you will be working with individuals who require support with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.

Your work will be centred around providing support in everyday activities, personal care, chaperoning activities outside the home environment, and assisting with medication compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Supporting clients with hygiene and personal care
  • Assisting with meal preparation and serving
  • Chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include dispensation of prescription medication

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least one year's experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Current NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with manual handling or physical disabilities
  • A valid Australian Driver's License (minimum P2)
