  • A skilled CHPP Technician - Mechanical Plant & Support is sought to join our proactive and results-driven team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in frontline delivery of the Mangoola Coal Mechanical Engineering Control Plan, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical apparatus in accordance with Australian and mine standards. The technician will proactively work with the CHPP team to ensure that asset management and production targets are achieved. Additionally, they will participate in and contribute to our safety-first culture, promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and adherence to company values.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A qualification as a Mechanical Tradesperson (Fitter/Boilermaker).
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges, industrial pumps, and similar equipment.
  • A strong commitment to personal and team safety.
  • The ability to follow a plan and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team.
