Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Analyst to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses in a timely manner and collaborating with the team to deliver results on tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC/MS, Karl Fischer, Dissolution Apparatus, UV-Vis, and FTIR
  • Preparing solutions, buffers, and reagents necessary for analysis
  • Providing expert evaluation of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products samples based on specifications
  • Investigating suspected analytical lab testing results, including out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), and atypical data
  • Interpreting and applying department policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
  • Maintaining calibration of specific laboratory equipment and troubleshooting analytical instrumentation and associated Lab software
  • Ensuring standardization and replenishment of all laboratory volumetric solutions and reagents
  • Properly disposing of samples no longer needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry or a relevant scientific discipline
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Ability to follow established methods and procedures in strict compliance with FDA cGLP guidelines
  • Experience with HPLC/GC/MS and other advanced analytical instrumentation
  • Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills
