Liverpool City Council is looking for three Waste Operatives to work in the Waste and Cleansing Department located at Council's Operation Centre. This section of Council is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Liverpool Local Government area in a timely and cost effective manner. This position in particular is responsible to the maintenance of this cleanliness by the removal of waste, recycling, litter and bin servicing.

As an Operative, you will have experience in general truck driving within residential areas. You will have demonstrated experience working as part of a team and knowledge of Work, Health and Safety (WHS) practices, the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), ethical practice and multi-cultural diversity. Manual handling skills are also required and the successful applicant must have a flexible attitude towards responsibilities and hours of work.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
