Internal Consulting Group is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Business Analyst to assist with an exciting Mergers and Acquisitions transaction. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting a multi-stream project team, working closely with a dedicated stream project lead. The stream is focused on People and Premises, and your expertise will be essential in driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a varied suite of requests throughout the project transaction life-cycle, combining research, analysis, recommendations, reporting, and documentation.
- Interfacing with stakeholders, engaging with teams to receive required inputs and data.
- Providing self-starter, problem-solving skills, and initiative in asking probing questions and challenging outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining graphing, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet skills.
- Utilizing retail financial services background, with exposure to one or both of the people and premises function.
- Supporting post-merger integration/separation activities, with specific experience in transactions.
Requirements:
- Stakeholder interfacing and engagement skills.

Logistics:
The role will be based in Sydney or Auckland, with a daily net rate of $850-$900 NZD or AUD, depending on location, plus GST where applicable. The duration of the role is expected to be until February 2025, with the possibility of an extension.
