Paediatric Cardiology Services Expert

This position contributes to the development of a tertiary paediatric cardiology service, working collaboratively with nursing and Indigenous healthcare workers to support sub-speciality paediatric cardiology services.
Main Responsibilities- Clinical Contributions: Provide ambulatory and inpatient care for children and young people requiring sub-speciality cardiology services, including those from remote communities with high rates of rheumatic heart disease.
- Outreach Programmes: Participate in outreach programmes to Torres and Cape HHS and Cairns and Hinterland HHS catchments, addressing unique healthcare needs of these regions.
- Expertise and Specialisation: Demonstrated expertise in paediatric cardiology, with additional subspecialty interests such as fetal echocardiography and imaging being highly desirable.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, contributing to the growth and success of the team.
