Role Overview

Eku Energy is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our global energy markets and origination efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize our energy assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and negotiate commercial agreements and revenue contracts for energy assets
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize asset and portfolio objectives
  • Provide guidance on trading service contracts, LTSA, supply agreements, warranties, and guarantees
  • Define and manage hedging strategies at asset and portfolio levels
  • Develop and manage regional BESS OEM relationships and provide technology expertise
  • Present to Investment Committee on key projects and support Board presentations as needed
  • Represent Eku Energy on asset-specific Risk and Trading Committees

Requirements

  • Experience in energy asset investment, revenue contracting, and trading
  • Strong technical knowledge across generation assets, ideally BESS
  • Experience in managing teams, senior stakeholders, and reporting
  • Well-developed commercial and contract management business acumen
  • Strong understanding of the Australian energy market
