About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Operations Manager to lead our drilling team and oversee daily rig operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Crew and Client Relations: Ensure effective communication and coordination with clients and team members on site.
  • Communicate Progress and Challenges: Regularly update project leaders on progress, challenges, and any deviations from plans.
  • Lead Safety Compliance: Develop and implement risk assessments and critical control verifications to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain Field Operations Compliance: Ensure all field operations adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Coach and Develop Team Members: Provide training and performance reviews to enhance team skills and development.
  • Maintain Equipment Readiness: Work with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and reported.
  • Participate in Safety Meetings: Share successes, identify areas for improvement, and capture feedback from contractor safety meetings.
  • Investigate Incidents or Hazards: Collaborate with the HSE team to lead investigations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
About the Opportunity

This is a FIFO role on a 2/2 roster from Perth, offering a competitive flat rate of up to $70 per hour for 12-hour days, including weekly pay, superannuation, site accommodation, meals, and travel.
