Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chief Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing models and design drawings, managing resources, ensuring design compliance, and reviewing vendor drawings.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, effective supervision of drafting personnel, and a deep understanding of fabrication and construction techniques.

About the Role

The Chief Mechanical Designer will work collaboratively with personnel across all business units to deliver high-quality engineering services globally.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years' experience in Mechanical Design/Drafting, proficiency in design layout and detailing of materials handling and process plants, and expertise in MicroStation 2D and 3D.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and detailed models and design drawings
  • Manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines

Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience in Mechanical Design/Drafting
  • Proficiency in design layout and detailing of materials handling and process plants
  • Effective supervision of drafting personnel
  • Understanding of fabrication and construction techniques
  • Experience with MicroStation 2D and 3D
