Exercise Physiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Exercise Physiologist to support the physical wellbeing of our residents at one of our locations in the Hunter Region.

As an Exercise Physiologist in this role, you will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide timely and effective exercise physiologist services to residents. You will participate in assessing residents' physical wellbeing and tailoring exercise-based interventions to meet their individual needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality exercise physiologist services to residents
  • Collaborating with residents, staff, and the Allied Health Team to assess functional care needs and provide treatment and interventions

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work autonomously. You will be part of a visionary and supportive team that is committed to making a significant difference in the lives of older people.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
  • Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist
  • Practical experience or sound knowledge in Aged Care
