Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Professional

About the Role:

This senior role is responsible for supporting the Group's commitment to fulfilling corporate and legal health, safety and wellbeing responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in managing external stakeholders and developing professional working relationships.

This role requires exceptional customer management skills, strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the effective delivery of the Group's health, safety and wellbeing strategy across all business units
  • Engage and consult with managers and business unit stakeholders to drive improvements in health, safety and wellbeing performance and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other areas of the broader HS&W team to ensure a seamless connection between project development and delivery to businesses
  • Coordinate and conduct internal health and safety audits and participate in external health and safety audits as required
Requirements:
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in a health and safety field
  • Exceptional customer management skills
  • Strong ability to manage external stakeholders of various levels
  • First-rate communication skills
  • Broad HS&W technical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
