Public Area Cleaning Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Public Area Cleaner to join our team at InterContinental Perth City Centre.

As a member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's standards of cleanliness and hygiene practices that keep guests and colleagues safe.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Daily and deep cleaning tasks of hotel public areas; including bathrooms, floors, windows, dusting, and tile cleaning
  • Ensuring all areas are fully stocked with guest amenities
  • Reporting maintenance requirements
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used, and stored correctly
  • Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained
  • Assisting the wider Housekeeping team as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need:
