About this role:
This position is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term project in Canberra as part of our ACT Construction Team. You will be reporting to the Senior Construction Manager and focusing on managing quality functions for the project to ensure that works meet specified quality requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and managing the project quality management plan.
- Coordinating quality planning activities and establishing project QA audit schedules.
- Conducting audits and preparing reports and corrective actions.
- Assisting project engineers with auditing of suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Monitoring ITP approval, measuring and test equipment, document and drawing control, and completion of construction quality records.
The successful candidate must have:
- Australian citizenship at the time of application.
- Government security clearance or ability to obtain it.
- 5+ years' industry experience in quality assurance engineering or management, preferably within construction or civil infrastructure.
- Experience on large-scale commercial construction projects over $100m.
- Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
