This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment, analyzing problems, and finding solutions. As a Graduate Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop new skills, and take ownership of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and understand the transportation process from fulfillment centers to delivery stations
  • Measure and ensure enough bandwidth in the sortation team to manage peak-time delivery
  • Continuously improve throughput and achieve sustained delivery performance improvements
  • Review and assist in analyzing data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance
  • Research and review formal process control and process improvement mechanisms, such as Kaizen
  • Safeguard team safety while working
  • Uphold Amazon's high standards of quality
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical capabilities

About the Role

This is a graduate program designed to develop your skills and knowledge in operations and logistics. You will work in a dynamic team environment, learn from experienced professionals, and have the opportunity to take ownership of a team. As a Graduate Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team or process from day one, improving delivery processes, and ensuring customer orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively.

About the Team

You will be part of a high-performing team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with other Area Managers, support staff, and learn everything you need to know about how Amazon Operations works. A mentor will be assigned to support and guide your work, and you will have access to a strong intern support network.

  • Completed a tertiary qualification (undergraduate or post-graduate) in the last 24 months in any discipline or degree
