Project Support Role

We are seeking a proactive professional to join our dynamic office team.

The key role is to support project supervisors by efficiently managing purchase orders and performing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

The Project Assistant will assist in preparing project documentation, tracking project progress, and communicating with team members to facilitate smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, collate and file project documents (contracts, permits, variations, client correspondence etc)
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain project records up to date
Communication:
  • Contact clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Built positive relationships with stakeholders
Scheduling:
  • Update project schedules and meet deadlines
Data Entry:
  • Update project management software and client progress reports
  • Produce reports as required
Procurement and Logistics:
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors & track quotes
Requirements:
  • Administrative Experience: Experience in an admin or project support role in the construction industry is highly desirable
  • Drafting Knowledge: Basic knowledge/experience in drafting
  • Organizational Skills: Organisational and time management skills
  • Interpersonal Skills: Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical Skills: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets etc) skills
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Industry Interest: Interest in the construction industry
  • Licence: Full driver's licence preferred
