Logistics Coordination Assistant

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the Transport Manager in ensuring the smooth running of our logistics operations.

About the Role

The Logistics Coordinator will play an integral role in the coordination of deliveries, inventory management, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating data entry and logistics systems to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Planning, scheduling, and coordinating deliveries to meet customer needs.
  • Liaising with internal teams, including drivers and administrative staff, to ensure the smooth execution of deliveries.
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with equipment and resource planning, ensuring all vehicles and materials are available and ready for use as required.
  • Supporting the Transport Manager with daily tasks and ad-hoc duties.
  • Ensuring flexible working hours to meet operational demands and customer expectations.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in logistics, transport, or an operational role, preferably in the agriculture or stockfeed industry.
  • Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude to meet the demands of the role.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating deliveries in a fast-paced environment will be highly regarded.
