Compliance Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in superannuation compliance and the ability to apply their expertise across various environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing advisory, monitoring and training services to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance on superannuation and trading matters;
  • Collaborating with key third parties to ensure compliance with superannuation regulations and responding to periodic questionnaires and attestations as required;
  • Investigating and assessing superannuation and trading incidents and breaches, and ensuring timely reporting to ASIC under RG 78;
  • Liaising with customer support and resolution teams to ensure compliant investigations and responses to customer complaints in accordance with ASIC RG 271;
  • Updating compliance frameworks, policies and procedures as required, and at least annually in accordance with the Compliance Calendar;
  • Providing ongoing monitoring and guidance across financial adviser frameworks;
  • Responding to regulatory queries, surveys and notices from ASIC, APRA and other market participants as required;
  • Utilizing risk and compliance systems to identify superannuation and trading compliance risks and support the business in designing appropriate controls for the Risk Register;
  • Creating and drafting periodic compliance reports for senior management, the risk and compliance committee and the board as required; and
  • Assisting with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) matters as required, preferably with a base knowledge of AML/CTF compliance.
