Job Summary

The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting the E-7A AUS Wedgetail AEW&C program in Williamtown, NSW.

This role involves monitoring and analyzing network traffic and event logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. The successful candidate will also assist in continuous monitoring and assessment of security control coverage and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include performing vulnerability assessments and audits, identifying current configuration and practices in support of the maintenance of security accreditation documentation, and managing or supporting incident response activities and post-incident analysis.

  • Monitoring and analyzing network traffic and event logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Assisting in continuous monitoring and assessment of security control coverage and effectiveness.
  • Performing vulnerability assessments and audits to identify weaknesses and recommend appropriate security measures.
  • Identifying current configuration and practices in support of the maintenance of security accreditation documentation.
  • Authoring and/or reviewing vulnerability management reports, briefs, and presentation packs, and other supporting documentation.
  • Managing or supporting incident response activities and post-incident analysis, tabletop exercises, and reporting.
