Job Summary:

The Product Security Analyst will be part of a dynamic team supporting a diverse range of technology.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and analysing network traffic and event logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, assisting in continuous monitoring and assessment of security control coverage and effectiveness, performing vulnerability assessments and audits to identify weaknesses and recommend appropriate security measures.

  • Network Traffic Monitoring: Monitor and analyse network traffic to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Security Control Assessment: Assist in continuous monitoring and assessment of security control coverage and effectiveness, ensuring that tasks such as asset management, patching and other maintenance tasks have been completed and are effective.
  • Vulnerability Assessments: Perform vulnerability assessments and audits to identify weaknesses and recommend appropriate security measures.

For this role, we require a solid foundation in Computer Science, Cyber Security or ICT, with formal qualifications and industry experience preferred. Relevant certifications or demonstratable experience in Incident response, auditing, vulnerability assessment, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls or penetration testing, IT or security tools is also desirable.

Requirements:
  • Formal qualifications in Computer Science, Cyber Security or ICT.
  • Industry experience in the field of cyber security.
  • Relevant certifications or demonstratable experience in Incident response, auditing, vulnerability assessment, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls or penetration testing, IT or security tools.
  • Australian Citizenship.
