Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Outside School Hours Care Educator Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have a love for children and education, and be able to form strong relationships with the children, families, principal, school leaders and the wider community.

This is a hands-on role that requires you to deliver high-quality childcare programs that promote the development and well-being of children. You will assist in planning and implementing daily programs and activities, provide support and supervision to children during outdoor experiences and play, and uphold the welfare and safety of children at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality childcare programs that promote the development and well-being of children
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders
  • Assist in planning and implementing daily programs and activities
  • Provide support and supervision to children during outdoor experiences and play
  • Uphold the welfare and safety of children at all times
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and people skills, strong problem-solving skills, an engaging and warm personality, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.

You will also need to be available to work at least 3 days per week, and have a passion for working with children and education.
