Medical Typing Opportunity

A highly motivated and experienced individual is required to fill a vacant medical typing position. As a medical typist, you will be responsible for the transcription of audio recordings into written medical reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely transcription of medical audio files
  • Assistance with administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict data protection protocols

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday between 8:00am-5:30pm, with occasional weekend work once training is complete. The successful candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

  • High level of typing and administration experience
  • Significant experience as a Medical Typist across a broad range of modalities
  • Highly developed knowledge of medical terminology
  • Exceptional command of the English language
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, staff, and professionals
