Procurement Expertise: A Strategic Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join its team, driving strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships. This key role will play a pivotal part in securing high-quality raw materials and packaging items, ensuring seamless supply chain management.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, managing raw material requirements, and monitoring stock levels. Effective negotiation skills are essential to secure optimal pricing and terms.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate supplier partnerships to optimize procurement processes
  • Manage MRP systems to generate purchase orders and monitor inventory
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure best value
  • Collaborate closely with production planning to align deliveries with schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of suppliers, specifications, and materials
  • Resolve supplier discrepancies and manage credit notes
  • Source new suppliers and obtain quotations as needed
  • Conduct annual supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain roles
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems (SAP Business One and/or NetSuite)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-focused, able to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Previous contract manufacturing experience beneficial
