Exciting Opportunity in Australian Equities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Junior Sales Trader or Designated Trading Representative, depending on experience level. This role involves executing institutional client equity orders and developing essential desk tools.

As a member of our Sales Trading team, you will work closely with the Institutional Sales team to deliver market insights and streamline internal workflows. You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your technical skills and market knowledge to support both internal teams and external clients.

Candidates with a combination of the following skillsets are encouraged to apply:

  • 1-5 years experience operating as a Designated Trading Representative and/or Junior Sales Trader, depending on experience level.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to trading.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to code (Python preferred) and maintain complex spreadsheets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to monitor and relay market dynamics and client interests effectively.
  • Familiarity with the local equity client base and existing relationships.
  • Strong adaptability to new systems and technologies.
