Fairfield Hospital is seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. In this vital role, you'll help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors by responding to emergencies, managing incidents, and supporting hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective security services to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff and visitors.
- Respond to emergency situations and manage incidents in a calm and professional manner.
- Support hospital operations and work collaboratively with other departments as required.
- Current NSW Security Licence in accordance with the NSW Security Industry 1997 Class 1A.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills that support teamwork and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience applying security techniques such as conflict resolution, de-escalation, and restraint.
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
