**Job Overview**
The Regional Health Partnerships Manager provides strong and effective management and leadership in place-based commissioning of primary health services and programs that are responsive to local and regional needs. This role leads a team that supports a coordinated and effective contract management in a partnership approach with commissioned providers and key stakeholders to support delivery of high performing and responsive services that improve health outcomes for the population.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversight of all commissioned programs in the Northern Territory
- Accountable to the Executive Manager in all matters regarding contract management and provider performance
**Requirements**
- Knowledge or training equivalent to a relevant postgraduate qualification (or working towards) and/or extensive leadership experience in the primary health care sector or other related health management field
- Excellent relationship, contract management and partnership development skills especially working with rural and remote communities, across multiple locations and diverse stakeholders in an environment requiring cultural and political sensitivity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience in leading and guiding change management in complex and dynamic settings
- Experience working closely with the primary health care sector in the Northern Territory
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups, with a demonstrated ability to influence, inform and guide others in achieving shared outcomes
