Battlespace Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Battlespace Systems Administrator to join our team at Raytheon Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical operations for the Battlespace Surveillance Centre's complex IT server and communication solutions.
- Manage system accounts, permissions, and directory operations to ensure service delivery staff have the necessary information for account administration activities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Disaster Recovery Plans & Business Continuity Plans for server and communication infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and manage software installation, configuration, and updates for operating systems, firmware, and software applications.
- Perform system and network configuration maintenance, manage backup and recovery protocols, and install and manage firewall and intrusion-detection monitoring systems.
- Coordinate with and provide support for depot-level maintenance actions.
- Relevant Certificate IV/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a Systems Administration 2nd / 3rd Level support role (UNIX, Linux and Microsoft).
- Experience in monitoring a complex IT environment and diagnosing networking faults.
- Hold a number of relevant industry qualifications such as DoD approved 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certifications, Microsoft Certified System Associate (MSCA), Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Security (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security).
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance as needed.
