Establishing Success as a Farm Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced farm manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing day-to-day operations in cutting-edge, tunnel ventilated broiler bird farms.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing farm performance and cost-effectiveness through effective staff management;
  • Resolving staff conflicts and disagreements in a fair and timely manner;
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with producer company representatives;
  • Implementing optimal shed management techniques to optimize bird growing requirements;
  • Maintaining high levels of farm presentation at all times;
  • Ensuring adherence to bio-security, health and safety, environmental and animal welfare procedures.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have at least two years' experience in managing the operations of a broiler and/or breeder farm.

A strong leadership background, combined with excellent staff management skills and a commitment to quality, is essential for success in this position.
