Job Role

The ideal candidate will be accountable for executing comprehensive cleaning operations within a school environment. This encompasses maintaining spotless floors, toilet sanitation, furniture and fixture cleanliness, window polishing, dusting, waste removal, and other general cleaning tasks.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively as part of a team. You will take initiative to provide a superior level of cleanliness within the workplace, ensuring a safe and visually pleasing learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises
  • Performing internal and external cleaning duties as required, utilizing specialized equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Removing waste and recyclables in a timely and organized manner

In addition to these key responsibilities, you are expected to obtain a valid Working With Children Check, consent to a National Criminal History Check, and hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights.
