This 10-year infrastructure project will revolutionize rail travel across South East Queensland, playing a key role in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Cross River Rail is a complex undertaking that includes:
- A new 10.2km rail line with 5.9km of twin tunnels under the Brisbane River and CBD
- Four new underground stations, two above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, and three new stations on the Gold Coast
- A world-class signalling system

About the Role:
The Stakeholder Engagement Manager oversees external communications related to stakeholder engagement and issues management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent messaging for external communications and issues management activities across identified sites and activities
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and provide up-to-date reports on consultation and communication activities
- Identify relevant stakeholder segmentation, prioritization, perceptual mapping, and strategies
- Manage stakeholder strategies with relationship owners
- Prepare communication tools for stakeholder engagements to support strategies
- Understand approval conditions and ensure compliance where these relate to stakeholder engagement activities
- Integrate stakeholder activities with project milestone schedules
- Provide advice internally on non-technical risk matters relating to project objectives
- Liaise with project teams to ensure communication activities are appropriate and effective
- Support government reporting requirements
Key Competencies:
- Experience in developing, managing, and monitoring complex communications and major infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience in liaising, influencing, and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience in an infrastructure environment
