About the Role

Brisbane Girls Grammar School is seeking an experienced Academic Administration Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Academic Administration Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Deans and Associated Deans, as well as the Tertiary Pathways and Learning Support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake administrative tasks to support the day-to-day management of our academic programs
  • Provide quality administrative and organisational support to the Tertiary Pathways and Learning Support team, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and arranging events
  • Provide reception and front office services to the Tertiary Pathways and Learning Support hub
  • Respond to client queries in person, by phone and by email, using excellent customer service skills
  • Maintain accurate and timely administrative records and systems
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in office/business administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, in a medium to large organisation
  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
  • Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
