About This Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the position of Team Leader.

As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care to residents. This is an opportunity to learn with purpose and drive positive impact to our community in a stimulating work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to ensure individual needs, wishes, and goals of each resident are met
  • Coordinating care to residents while maintaining a supportive, valued, and respectful environment
  • Supervising and coordinating staff to provide high-quality care
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal resident outcomes

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) OR Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration)
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Effective listener with ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
