Lead Educator Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Educator to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our centre, ensuring the highest quality care and education for our children.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, with a minimum of 1 year experience as a Room Leader or Assistant Manager. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team to achieve outstanding results.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Mentoring and supporting our educators to enhance their practice and meet the needs of our children;
  • Developing and implementing curriculum plans that align with the EYLF and other educational documentation;
  • Ensuring the physical environment is safe, engaging and promotes learning;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality care and education;
  • Participating in regular meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practice and industry developments.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education;
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Room Leader or Assistant Manager;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • A valid Working with Children Check;
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Applicants must be available to work full-time Monday to Friday, with adaptable shifts between 7am and 6pm.
