Support Elderly Care Professional

This opportunity enables individuals to make a difference in the lives of elderly people by working in a Residential Aged Care setting.

The role involves assisting residents with daily lifestyle activities and providing support and care to enhance their overall well-being. On-the-job training and study over 12 months are provided, enabling you to gain valuable skills and experience while making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily lifestyle activities such as grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and progress.

Requirements:

  • A caring attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Reliability and commitment to ensuring high-quality care is delivered.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A National Police Check and valid working rights in Australia.
  • Able to reside in Australia and hold permanent residency or citizenship.
  • Flexibility to work AM shifts (6:30am–2:30pm), PM shifts (2:30pm–10:00pm), and attend training (9:30am–4:30pm).
  • A minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Sunday.
