Clinical Nurse Educator Position Overview

Deliver high-quality clinical training to healthcare professionals by developing and executing in-service educational programs, with a focus on hands-on learning and real-world application.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of ward/unit staff.
  • Evaluate and demonstrate evidence-based clinical procedures to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Key Qualifications:
  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse is essential.
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications in clinical or education fields, along with current certification as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor, are highly valued.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant clinical/speciality field is required.
