The Role

We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant (Stylist) to join our team at the NEW Yarra Trail David Jones Indooroopilly site. As a Stylist, you will be an integral part of a successful team, maximising sales and supporting day-to-day operations of the store, while ensuring our customers receive considered service and styling, making their experience effortless.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to store's sales by selling passionately on the shop floor
  • Ensure store presentation is immaculate through adhering to our visual merchandising standards
  • Work towards achieving an exceptional customer experience by communicating product knowledge of apparel and accessories
  • Adhere to a well-organised stock room and use ladders to retrieve stock from a height (comfortability doing so is a must)
  • Assist your Manager with various administration and store maintenance duties including cleaning as required.
Requirements
  • Customer service experience (retail experience desirable, although not essential)
  • Ability to flex your hours as per business needs
  • Enthusiasm for creating modern, authentic service experience for our customers
  • Familiarity with styling outfits that leave customers feeling relaxed, confident, and tailored to their needs
  • Experience with stock control and VM (comfortability in lifting up to 10kg unassisted)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and listening skills
