Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures.

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of network infrastructure projects, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud networking solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to enhance network performance, security, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve network issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex network problems, including connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and security breaches.
  • Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patching, and configuration backups.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent networking certification(s).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a proven track record of success across large-scale networks, on a mix of on-premise, mobile compute, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience integrating networks in a virtualized environment, preferably VMware.
  • Provisioning and management of network infrastructure using code and automation.
  • Deep understanding and a demonstrated track record on network layer security concerns and mitigations.
  • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in improving systems across the entire organization.
