Residential Mentor for Young Adults

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to fill the position of Residential Mentor for Young Adults. As a Residential Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young adults living in our program.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient and understanding, and have a passion for working with young adults. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and growth of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and support to young adults in their daily lives
- Assist with household chores and meal preparation
- Develop and implement individualized plans to promote personal growth and development
- Maintain open and honest communication with residents, staff, and family members
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with young adults or in a similar field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience and understanding when working with challenging behaviors
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
