The Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated & proactive Function and Events Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Venue Manager to manage the day to day operations, spear-head functions and events components.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Support and assist the Venue Manager to manage day-to-day operations">
  • Spearhead functions and events components, including successfully managing relationships and promoting the venue">
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including chefs, managers, and local community">
  • Ensure repeat and growth of business through excellent customer service and sales techniques">
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and organization within the venue">
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the venue">
  • Manage function and event bookings, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing revenue">
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring financial targets are met">
  • Collaborate with the Venue Manager to develop and implement business plans, strategies, and initiatives">
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers">

Essential Skills:

  • 1+ year experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment">
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team">
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint">
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry software and systems">
  • Ambitious and driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service">
  • Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays">
