We're currently seeking a Site Engineer to join our team on the Cairns Water Security project, a $325.5M greenfield water treatment plant and associated infrastructure project that will provide water for Cairns and the surrounding regions.

The scope of the project includes the construction of a 60 megalitre per day water treatment plant, an 8 megalitre clear water reservoir, and an all-weather access road from the water treatment plant to the reservoir sites.

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with the Project Engineering and Supervisory team to ensure timely delivery of programme requirements from a cost and time perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project quality systems, including inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping
  • Plan and programme construction activities
  • Assist with procurement and supplier management
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals, and standards
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified Civil Engineer with at least 12 months post qualification experience
  • Understanding of contemporary practices in construction methodology on civil infrastructure projects
  • Confident communicator
  • Passion for teamwork and delivering on tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance, and reporting procedures
