Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Port of Brisbane is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely trade information and invoices for the recovery of harbour dues, wharfage, port access charges and cargo-based security charges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process trade manifests for all vessels arriving and departing Brisbane;
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to produce accurate and timely trade information and invoices;
  • Support the Accounts Payable and Collections teams as required;
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as an accounts administrator, preferably in a high-volume invoicing environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly;
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team;
