Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team as an Accountant & Office Administrator. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your strong accounting skills and attention to detail to support the smooth operation of our business.

The successful candidate will have a minimum Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and experience in Xero accounting software. You will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess a high level of organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. A flexible and adaptable approach to work will also be essential, as you will be required to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Accounting Duties
    • Record financial transactions in Xero, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
    • Reconcile bank statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
    • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • 2. Administration and Support
    • Provide administrative support, including managing patient bookings, processing orders, and responding to customer inquiries.
    • Assist with office management, including maintaining supplies and performing ad-hoc tasks.
    • Support with property management, including reviewing construction invoices and managing insurances.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
  • Experience in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
