Clinical Documentation Specialist

As a Clinical Documentation and Policy Professional, you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Policy Development: Collaborate with frontline staff and leadership to develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with current legislation, best practice standards, and organisational objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements, identify risks, and support audit processes to maintain high-quality care.
  • Policy Analysis and Quality Improvement: Analyse policy outcomes, contribute to quality initiatives, and enhance clinical performance and consumer safety.
  • Training and Guidance: Deliver guidance and training to ensure understanding and compliance with clinical policies among frontline teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, contribute to internal reporting, and participate in audits and reviews to monitor effectiveness.

Occasional travel within metropolitan and regional NSW may be required. You are a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional with a keen eye for policy detail and a passion for supporting frontline teams to deliver excellence in care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Allied Health qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
