Job Opportunity
The ANU is seeking a skilled specialist to manage the NanoPhase Facility within the Research School of Earth Sciences. The successful candidate will provide high-level support to laboratory operations, technical and research operations, and a collection of state-of-the-art instrumentation including infrared photo-induced force microscopes, Raman FTIR spectrosopes, x-ray fluorescence spectrometers, and XRD machines.

This role offers an unrivalled world-class research environment with iconic and state-of-the-art instrumentation supported by highly trained professional staff. We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are key. Skills and qualifications in earth sciences, chemistry, physics, and/or engineering would be desirable, as well as a desire to contribute to world-class research through research support and method development.
