Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a diligent and experienced cleaning leader to fill a key position within our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of residents and contribute to maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage resources to ensure a hygienically clean, tidy and presentable environment.
  • Lead a team of cleaners and oversee that all cleaning requirements are met at each shift.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful and positive manner.
  • Collaborate with staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and equipment used in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Previous experience working in aged care.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and schedules.
  • Experience in supervisory roles is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A positive attitude and compassionate approach to elderly residents.
  • Understanding and adherence to infection control practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
