Our organization is looking for a highly skilled Demand Planning Analyst to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the success of our business by forecasting product demand, optimising inventory levels, and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand.

  • The ideal candidate will develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product categories using historical data, market trends, and sales insights.
  • We are seeking a collaborative individual who can work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations to gather relevant data and insights to inform demand forecasts.
  • A key responsibility of this role is to monitor inventory levels and analyse inventory performance to identify opportunities for optimisation and cost reduction.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of inventory and minimise stockouts.
  • Additionally, they will continuously improve demand planning processes and systems to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency.
  • Regular reports on demand forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and key metrics will be prepared and presented to stakeholders.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics in a retail, wholesale, or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with demand planning software is desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
