Exciting Opportunity for a Flashing Sheetmetal Technician

 

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a skilled technician looking for a new challenge. As a Flashing Sheetmetal Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production and distribution within the Roofing section.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate manufacturing equipment such as Guillotines, Press brakes, Roll presses, Slitter / Slitter Folders, and various hand tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Manage workload to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain high-quality standards by adhering to strict quality controls.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all staff, reporting any concerns to management.
- Coordinate and lead a small team of staff to achieve production targets.

Requirements:

- Experience in the roofing industry is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of leading or coordinating a team of staff.
- Ability to use necessary trade tools and equipment.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- An LF forklift license is desirable but not essential.
