Claims Consultant Opportunity

Aon is seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join our team, supporting a portfolio of global and corporate clients. As a Claims Consultant, you will provide clients with full claims management support from start to finish, in an advisory role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage claims across a range of risk classes, including Property, Public Liability, and Professional Indemnity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure open communication and effective claim management.
  • Maintain and build relationships with insurers and the global Aon network.
  • Reserve and investigate initial claims, and provide timely lodgment of claims.
  • Provide advice to clients on claim mitigation and claim management, and deliver effective presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the claim lifecycle from notification through to closure, and develop strong client relationships to facilitate successful outcomes.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of legal background or 3-4 years of experience working as a Claims Consultant at an insurer.
  • Experience taking on additional role responsibilities and ability to take on senior tasks.
  • Strong customer service focus, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders.
  • Outcome-focused, able to overcome obstacles and deliver designated outcomes.
